I keep getting lost looking through old photos to post.

Looks like the last trip I shared was Wongai Waterholes. Since then I've been to the Sunshine coast a bunch

Have been going through old photos/trips, since I last posted I have not had a holiday, but, have been driving to and from work so most of the places I have explored have been south east to central Queensland, little country towns and back roads where possible.

Places like Woorabinda, Baralaba, Kokotungo, Argoon, Banana (where they don't grow bananas, named for a prize Bull), Moura, Theodore, Cracow, Biloeila, Thangool, Camboon, Moonford, Monto, Camboon, Kalpowar, Coominglah, Mungungo (great Pub), Cania, Mulgildie, Ceratodus, Boynedale, Ubobo, Eidsvold, Dululu, Goovigen, Wowan, Bauhinia, Rolleston, Springsure, Emerald, Oombabeer, Taroom, Mundubbera, Binjour, Gayndah, Bam Bam Springs, Mount Lawless, Mount Rainbow, Goodnight, Booyal, Childers, Turkey Beach, Seventeen Seventy, Agnes Waters, Deep Water, Baffle Creek, Boompa, Teebar, Boroweena, Woolooga, Gootchie, Kilkivan, Goomeri, Booubyjan, Murgon, Cherburg, Ficks Crossing, Ammamoor, Kandanga, Imbil, Lower Wonga, Mothar, Cootharaba, Boreen Point, Tiaro, Burrum Heads, Susan River, Urangan, Rules beach, Berajondo, Euleilah, Lowmead, Booral, Bunya Creek, Poona, Tinanbar, Mooloo, Kinbombi and probably more I can't remember.

Great little towns for the most part, in need of visitors. Some places I have visited again and again (Boyne Valley), others once was enough (Moura). Some I really want to get back to (Boreen Point, Seventeen Seventy) and some I probably shouldn't have gone to in the first place (Camboon, bad road)

As I get time I will post some pics/stories and hopefully I have figured out how to convert Video to Gifs to share on here...

Still can't get the 360 photos to share anywhere.

Hey my old Kenworth had a Boyne River Road House sticker on the window. I guess that is/Or was in the Boyne Valley?

So many places to visit so little time/petrol money, last night I figured out I am exactly 2,000 Ks from Melbourne cbd. I reckon there and back might make a good week off.

Good stuff. I did a Motorbike trip from Canberra to Cape York in April/May and had a quick skim through your thread beforehand for ideas. Schedule was pretty tight so we didn’t get to stray too far away but I recognize a fair few of those names as we went up the Burnett Highway.

Hot tip- the cafe on the corner in Monto does one of the best club sandwiches I’ve ever had, and the coffee was top notch too.

I live about a thousand Ks from work and generally travel either the Bruce or the Burnett highway. Often stop in Monto for fuel before going up the range, have never been to the cafe there though. We did spend the night at the pub once while waiting for parts for the ford station wagon we had at the time.

Cania Gorge is a top spot to visit near Monto if you're heading to Biloeila. If you're heading for the coast go via Mungungo and Kalpowar, a little bit of well graded dirt road regularly used by farmers.

Here's a favorite break spot on the Burnett highway between Mundubbera and Eidsvold

There is no Roadhouse in the valley but the Boyne river goes on South from there and empties out near Gladstone, there is even a Boyne island.
