    Hi All,

another week off and another road trip.

    This time I went to;

Abercorn, bit of a ghost town now

    Very dry out that way

    Waruma Gorge

Always stuns me how it can be so dry right next to a river/lake/dam

    Now that's a Dam wall

    Long way down

Beautiful gorge that not many seem to know about

Sandie waiting patiently in the distance

300 odd Ks further south, I really enjoy driving down the range at Tansey, one of those spots where 60kmh is fast enough to be fun.

Was home a couple of days and then on to Brisbane to see an Uncle on Lamb Island

    Tingalpa creek

Looking across to Coochiemudlo Island from Victoria Point, beautiful spot

Snipe Island in Moreton Bay, I think it might be for sale if you've got the cash

And back home to the Sunny Coast

All too soon it was time to head back to work

Old mate below taking full advantage of the rest stop at Gympie, got the full tent set up

The area around Gympie is beautiful first thing in the morning

    Top camp spot near Biggenden

Love the light and reflections in this shot

    Biggenden Bluff/Mt. Walsh national park

Coming into Gayndah, Queenslands oldest town

    The Big Orange at Gayndah

The Burnett River just north of Gayndah, a great spot to stop and just off the highway, no camping here though :(

    Still at Wuruma Dam

one of the dodgiest bridges I've driven across, had to do it twice, once in, once out. Crossing the Nogoa River, down stream from the gorge pictured above

Thanks Damien, I don't know a lot of journey - apart from some drunken sing alongs.
Do you have a favourite? I'll check it out.

    Hey Camper

I passed you in Bouldercombe yesterday around lunchtime. I was admiring the nice rig headed towards me wondering if it was a panno, but it was only when when we crossed that I realised it was you. seeing as you were headed north I guess you were going back to the mines.

I was headed to Mt Morgan, so I assume you had just come down the range pretending you were at Mt Panorama........it's hard to stick to the 40km limit let alone the 80km on the long straights that follow

Hi Blue, I was heading home via 1770 coming from Blackwater/Mt. Morgan, it was the first time I had been down that range, certainly wont be the last, a great drive, 80km on the straight? will have to keep that in mind.

    Mt. Morgan Lookout

    1770, my favourite deck

    My "secret" beach

Special shot here, sunset over water on the east coast, moon rising behind and friends between

Had a couple hours kip here and drove through the night, made it back to Clown town in time for sunrise

A bit dark, sorry for potato quality, but the scene's are worth it, pre-dawn, waiting for the cyclone and checking waves at a couple spots

If you know Matty B you get 'much respect

and finally a walk on the beach to cool off, wind down and get ready for a nice long sleep

Bonus shot from the inside on a sunny day, love this van!
