    Last trip cont.

No wire in the fence and no pipe underground, go straya

    Chowey Bridge built in 1905

Cool story of Aussie engineering and hardwork

Don't think it see's many trains these days (cool to note the dual gauge rails)

The waterhole the bridge crosses, absolutely beautiful spot. Will return.

Tricky photosphere, you can just see Sandy way to the right

    Still last trip...

Heading out of Didcot, back towards Degilbo, Boompa and Teebar. I stayed too long taking photos of sunsets and had a stressful drive out in the dark, plenty of loose cattle and wildlife around. Nearly hit a rabbit the size of a staffy!

After that it was 3hrs of motorway and home by 9

While home I took Mum for drive out to Lake Borumba, near Gympie, stopped off at Mapleton falls and Imbil on the way.

    Lookout above Imbil

Borumba Dam/Lake, stunning at sunset, can camp nearby and have a fire! No restrictions on boats and stoked with fish, heaven for some.

River won't flow cause there is a Dam wall in the way

One more post should do it...

Last post for this most recent trip home and back, I took over 400 photos in 1 day! much work to edit, organise and decide which to post.

Random riverside jungle, Mary river at Maryborough

3 minutes off the Highway and a much better spot for a rest

You can still see the footings and work out property lines from the original village in the 1850s!

I actually get more worried taking these paths alone when close to town, much rather battle a snake than a junky.

But, you'll never see the sights without some risk

Next it was another 4hours on the Bruce to get to Lake Awoonga

I've been here many times, both sides of the lake

you can see why, again I had the place to myself, I saw 1 boat and 2 cars in my hour there

Find me a better picnic table

Even comes with friends for lunch

then it was just a short 3.5hr drive to work

    Very impressive!
So look forward to seeing your pictures.
For me at the moment no work!
Dam virus, so will have to move for another job, which by the sounds of it I have got.
    But that’s life.
    Back to the South Island
And then will look for another arbor van to cruise in!

    Cheers Kiwi

Hopefully not much longer until things improve, Jacinda seems to be knocking out of the park. Feel for you mate, a lot of my friends in Hospitality are in the same boat.
