Almost imported a van from Aussie that had been certified to have the window out.
In the end the cost was horrendous to get it here and complied.
But certainly you should think of a tail tent.
We have one for ours
Have a look on eBay for
Rightline SUV tail tent.
Awesome saves the aerobic clothes change.
Fits all vans etc

You're right, there is not much to the bed under the liner, I had mine removed, thinking to seal it with a spray on liner.

That's not as bad as I thought. But still they are relying on the plastic bed liner. Reminds me of the old single skin Ford Escort panel vans.

Definitely enjoy the auto and cruise, handling in general is great, very comfy to drive for 10hrs a day.
Not sure how much longer the Amcat canopies will be available, they have recently been taken over by a couple of enthusiasts but I get the impression that the business was failing.

Do you know how much those canopies cost Camper ball park figure ???

Some may remember the old ute in the middle of a dam I posted a while back, I went back that way, Ute's still there but the dam has gone. The country is a tinder box

Having just got back to home (South of Sydney) from a trip camping at Wreck Rock (near 1770) I have a new appreciation to just how big QLD is, and how much ground Camper has actually travelled. I was 550 km up the coast of QLD but that's basically just in the south east corner when you look at a map of the whole state.
