    Grunt;s HX Sandman Papaya build thread

    Hi All

    Just letting you know I have gone through and redone all the pics in my HX Sandman build thread.

    I Had a few contact me letting me know the pics had disappeared.

    While I was sorting through I have found a bunch of pics of various stages and posted them as well

    Mate, thank you so much....I lost half of yesterday looking at this thread for the first time, only to be disappointed that the later photos were missing.

    Forget the chorus, I'll add to the stadium about the appreciation of the quality and effort. Makes my painting of my brake drums yellow back in 86 on my HJ Sandy almost look amateurish.

    FYI to anybody under 30, painting ones brake drums and diff yellow (no pre cleaning required) was a must when attending the Dandy drags in the 80s...that and a Holley equipped sticker

    hA hA, that's funny but we all did that when we were younger, can of paint and give her a Whoooosh...careful you didn't get paint on those tramp bars!!

    Glad to see it's all complete and documented again.
    (and I still paint my brake drums)
    Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
