    Got my L's in 1989. Drove once on my L's,160km round trip to Mudgee in mums Sigma, then got my P's. Local policeman did my driving test. Passed it no worries, then he wrote the wrong date on my license so I only had my P's for 6 months!
    I learnt to drive in our 77 Hilux when I was 8. Had a few years up before I got my L's.
