HJUTE1975, I would add, even if you are a bit disappointed on the assessment that its probably not Sandman, you still have an HJ ute!
Clean it, shine it, use it, etc. I reckon theres a good chance it's value could surprise you in years to come. It's worth considering that a Sandman costs money to get it right and keep it up to premium. A standard ute requires heaps less money, and its useful. Cheap parts, and potentially, it can go on forever. There are few comparable vehicles. Sandman or not, I don't think there are many in Australia theres days who would say an HJ ute is not a classic car.
