    Can now confrim that is correct,She is a Kingswood,But a 2 seater with a GVM of 2200kg.
Overall it is in great condition,Just the doors and the tailgate.Have taken her down to the painters for a look over,And right there and then!We decided to paint her a different colour. His exact words it has to be in your face colour! It will be Mint green,As she is not genuine we can do with her what we want,It is a factory 5 litre 4 speed with gts dash and rostyles. At the moment it is at the work shop just to make sure she is road worthy.it was throwing some water out but have changed the radiator cap and all is fine.Tomorrow will do the rear gearbox seal,Replace all the fluids check brakes and suspention(rides really high)Will lower that. What is the max width tryes you can put on those rims??
Will do a compression test as well as check the oil pressure.just want to make sure all is good.

    Cheers Kiwivan
ps any recomendations for lowering and how far before you get into any problems. And for lowering the front is it just a change of springs. Also rubber or nolathyne??(for bush's)

i prefer rubber bushes in the control arms for a smooth ride but use nolathane for sway bar rubbers..same in the back...lowering is a change of springs in the front and blocks in the rear or get the leafs professionally retempered..
those wheels you call rostyles are not..rostyles were a pommy sports wheel.i know its a kiwi thing ay....
.they are called rally 2s and were originally made for pontiacs....

    Rally 2's

Rally 2's??Alrighty then I will go with that.Really it is the first I have heard it called that way.(even At our last Holden nationals)
What width is the widest you can go with these rims.I take it they are 14X6's.

    I had 235's on 14 x 6" rims.
Looked good but was a bit too big for the 6" rim.

    205x70x14's that are on her.
Well today did the ball joints,Tie rod ends,As well as had a look at all the brakes. Will remove the dumpy pipes and extend the pipes so they come out the back.Have done a compression test and all around the 185 mark. Also did a oil pressure test and when cold about 45 at idle.Hot is about 25 at idle and when running at about 2500 rpm when hot sit at about 50.So quite happy at that.Found a leaky frost plug so will remove the enginge and do the lot(not sure when, but soon)Changed all the fluids and plugs and checked the leads as well as the points. How have people found the points to be??Was thinking maybe put an electronic one in?Will have a go at the rear pinion seal tomorrow as it is starting to weep.Looking really sound under the van so I am really happyWhile I am under the old girl is there anything else I should look at?

    Cheers Kiwivan
