How do we get Byron back?

Don't get me wrong, I agree with all the comments re Byron's knowledge and being a loss to this site, but it must not be forgotten that his contribution is for the time he was a member is a matter of record. Quite frankly, this resource, mysandman, use the search engine effectively and you'll come up with the answers (including a lot of Bryon's) to most questions. There are still many other many knowledgeable members here that can answer most questions or point people in the right direction.

The knowledge he has left us with is invaluable.

Have to agree with Sandaro as well. There really can’t be much left to uncover that’s not on here, except the inevitable “is this a Sandman” questions, that are never clear cut.
I really think the best bet, failing Byron’s return, is for the site to get a proper conection with Holden Historical Services, to help direct people to the best option to work out what they own/are looking at buying.
