There's even a little nostalgia trip for those of us that currently have a turbo diesel Mondeo wagon for work and miss this sound

For me, the colour just isn't IT. Don't get me wrong, still desirable & very good condition for its age. & in my opinion, id rather a van in this condition than a restored one that you couldn't park anywhere... Console lid/armrest appears to be WB, spare wheel x-member cut out (for gas?) Definitely worth a look and if it was Atlantis Blue, I'd be All over it, like a fat kid on a doughnut!

    cheers
    Max

Only other Sandman I’ve seen in that colour was a Ute. Looks a very good example.

We own a Deauville blue one,
But certain days and cameras the colour is always different.
I am sure the colour on this one looks great

It's a baby/powder/light blue non metallic. Obviously not everyone's cuppa but I personally have always liked it.
Though I'm not a fan on the "extra" blackouts done to this Sandman. I.E: Taillight surrounds, Indicator/Parker surrounds etc.
Throw another 10K+ at this one and it could be a super nice rare colour example.

Speaking of blackouts, immediately I noticed that the door blackout on the base sits a cm or two higher than the body and the guard for that matter. Were these (doors and guards) sprayed off vehicle at the factory, or is this just the result of a restoration where the hanging panels were painted separately?

I assume its been restored and that the pictures on the dash in Aliens shots are of it...the bottom left of windscreen looks like a stripped/masked vehicle.

Blue Victor had a lot of stone chips (quite the thrash machine) and I'm pretty sure where it was chipped on the sills there was no body color behind the black.......then again that was sold in 89
