    That's an early "Heads-Up Display". What about the paper jambed in the air vent to stop it spinning at 100MPH!

    LOL on Heads up. Sometimes though I wonder if you'd always want to stop the vent spinning,- its an extra fan for free! (lol lol). I reckon the vents in my old LH probably clocked 2400 RPM from time to time back in the day. (Noisy!) Great way to annoy the driver, but endless fun for bored passengers on a long highway trip (lol).
