Wow, what a score. The WB fascia arrived today and is so mint it is almost as good as a Nos one, just got to pop the WB RTS badge off and install a new HZ one.



Paint the Grey first Jason, then mask it up and paint the black. All Holden fascias (any interior plastics for that matter including consoles) are painted black over the black abs plastic, they were not left raw plastic.

Whats your plans for these dashes? Retirement fund?

WB one I will restore as a HZ and sell, the HJ one I will restore and put in my HJ Sandman. I have a lot of others that I will restore as time permits and then sell off as well.

If you look at the rear of the fascia you will probably be able to see overspray over the raw plastic as they didn't paint the back of them.

After reading throu this, my mind started to play on me, if I still had some nice clean facias. So I decided to go digging & not great news... heaps have holes drilled or cut outs in all sorts of places. Got a few HZ ones & a couple woodgrain that are pretty good. But not one good silver one that I will need for my HX van, so I might be in the market for one of these in the future. I did however find 3 HZ facias with clocks still mounted!
