    L31 WB Ute

As mentioned earlier on the shoutbox, here is probably one of the rarest Holden’s about. A WB Ute with a factory fitted L31 engine. So both the L31 tag and the WT prefix block are more or less non existent. I also think that Malachite green was only a Statesman colour, but happy to be proven wrong.
I can’t believe that one exists, that they optioned it with a bench seat and column auto and picked malachite green as the colour. Anyway, one does exist.

haha not the colour I would pick today. New they all looked very good.

You hear a lot about 308 WB utes someone has seen. Where there 308 ambo tonners?

No panelvans have showed up I'm guessing.

That has to be a rare vehicle. Pity about condition of body.
Interior pic could be used to show mis-matched original dash & glove box colours, when people think someone has swapped their parts & asks what the original colour was

You're right Max it clearly shows how horrendous the colour matching between components was.

Despite some body issues, you must be tempted WB? Out of interest on the thin tag the "L" where I'd expect the engine code on HQ-Z tags to be 202, did the position or code change for WB?

This image shows how bad the colour match is with the 63V trim in this WB.

308 in a WB had WT as the engine prefix so "L" would be incorrect as the 308 identifier and like you said it points to a High Compression 202 it should be a "T".
But there is no disputing the L31 on the other tag.
