Colour- go with I'd tags or heart?

Ok guys I'm in a quandary, I am fortunate enough to have come across another Hz Sandman, I have always liked Panama as a colour but seeing as we can't order what we want I am wondering if I should do this next van how I like instead of what the tags say? It will more than likely never get sold so resale doesn't bother me but would like to hear others views on this subject. It is plated Supermint, 308 4 speed with 63v trim, all the interior is here and brand new so I'm wondering has anyone got pics of panama with that colour trim? I've only seen slate in the panama so depends what that looks like.Cheers

I say it’s your car so do whatever you want.

Resale would be better original supermint but that isn’t an issue for you.

Also, i would suggest paint colour is not ‘unchangable’ - if you really regret going with panama (or you decide to sell and the new owner wants supermint), it can be repainted.

It appears the tailgates and door shown is Supermint. Polish a bit up and see if you like it!

Seeing its the original, Id go Supermint, a great looking colour on a van. But as already said, its your choice.

    cheers

I saw one just recently painted in supermint, I do like it but I've always liked Panama, and never been able to find a panama, I have been lucky enough to find a few vans over the last few years but not a Panama! Got a Pappaya, flamenco and now this supermint, but no luck with a panama! Not complaining though I know how lucky we are to have what we have! And without sounding like a big Noter have got a good collection, there is a Hq van 6 cylinder Belmont, a mint Hz 6 cal auto, then the three sandmans, and I let 3 others go,one we started doing as a pappaya tribute but then found a real one, lucky before we got to far into the build!

    Hi hilta
Mine is Supermint. Check out my album. That is how I picked it up. Still working on it after 5 years.
    Cheers
