Which is derived from NASCO and that is where the "N" comes from. Holden changed it's parts division name from National Automotive Service Company to General Motors Parts & Accessories around 1972 (Mid HQ). Holden continued to use the "N" from NASCO as a prefix on Genuine Replacement Engines, Chassis and Bodies even when known as GM P&A.
