I have an old 1976 HJ45 Landcruiser which is used daily as a work truck around the park... she's a slow old girl, smells of diesel and has armstrong steering (and if you don't have strong arms you don't have steering) but I love driving her.
Was in the Coles carpark yesterday at Wagga and came back to the car and waited while people got out of a 200 series Landcruiser parked next to me, guy asks if I'd swap old for new... I laughed and said nah... he looked straight at me and say's... I'm serious, been looking for an early diesel 45 for ages but very hard to find in good original condition.... I laughed again and said no thanks, love the old girl too much.... he say's, yeah I don't blame you, can I give you my phone number in case you change your mind.
