If you get $80000 for a Sandman, it is probably the worst investment in history really. I doubt they have really held their original value if you factor in inflation. I don’t know what you would have paid for a top of the line V8 Commodore ute last year, but I don’t think it would have been that much less than 80K. When you factor in that about 95% of the 80K in the Sandman went to the restoration.
