    What a heap of crap. Let’s be honest, straight to the smelter. The only Sandman bits left are the door handles and tags. The rest is rusted out.
    Everyone wrecked vans to build something more valuable in the 90’s.

    my van body was made in adelaide the body then shipped to Melbourne for assembly ...you just have to know what they did back in the day.

    Even though it could have been made chassis and body in different plants the numbers will all match in holden records. I'm not saying this one matches, I'm just saying it could, or you might be right it doesn't, but you'd need to get a HHS certificate to confirm either way

    So really any van could be rebodied and still say it’s a genuine sandman ? How do you prove it either way ?

    Via preexisting evidence and documentation. Your looking for the Sandman tell tales signs, blackouts, roof lining, console brackets, decal remnants, whether the tags have been removed and replaced etc. Or photographic proof of these item when restored.
