    Modern sandman

    Found this and it kind of look like the mambo sandman but not

    6 banger, that was a disappointment.
    Lot of cash for an old VE. Still it looks pretty neat.

    Very nice and a pretty good price! does anyone know any more about the "engineered engine" looks stock at 210KW?

    Saw that at Hanging Rock....those decals are similar thickness to the VFs....would hate to wash that with sponge....just sayin

    The LLT 3.6 is the 210 kW standard SV6 motor in late VEs. I'm not sure that the engine itself is 'engineered'. The van might have some other mod not mentioned in the advert that could need be engineering certification.

    I think you'll find it's just the way some people think/talk. Meaning the car from factory was supplied/fitted with the powerful 210Kw V6 engine.

    Just an fyi....i spoke to John Evans about doing a mambo replica not too long ago.....for the same paint, with all the candy colours used, basically identical would run around the 30 mark....an cheaper alternative was to take high res pics of the mambo van and do a vinyl wrap...then hit it with multiple coats of clear to bring out some depth...thatd run around the 10-12k mark....just an fyi..if anyone is curious

    True, but not as pricey as a 40 year old tradesmans van with stickers on it....
