    HZ Standard Ride Height Measurements

I am looking to red the springs in my van as the front sits to high and the rear to low. I am chasing some ride height measurements for a HZ with a V8. Can anyone help me out?

Hi Rally. I looked at the thread on your van (particularly the photos from Aug 16 in the driveway) and in my opinion the height at the rear looks pretty right for standard, the front maybe a tad high (inch and a half?). I know that's not very scientific. Someone else may have more precise measurements for you

When you go to a suspension shop they offer replacement standard height springs, lowered, super lowered all with "Heavy Duty" tension rate variants.
Finding what ride height is "standard" from factory in a measurement from ground height will be virtually impossible. Fitting replacement standard springs would be your best option to have a starting point.
Any good suspension shop would fit standard springs and swap them out to another size for you once you see the ride height.

One inch lowered springs is pretty much a good ride height on the front on most HQ to WB series Holden's
Get your rear springs reset that should see the old girl out for another 40 years

Mine is a 5.0 /T350 with standard springs (possibly sagged) if it helps. It does sit higher than most, as most have slightly lower springs fitted by now.

Low springs which is about 1 inch down.30mm when measured on all 4 corners.
    Drives very well.
Did go super low but I hated the ride and went back to one inch down.

This might help, seems to come from the same family as yours

BTW, I believe Ryan is the son of legendary Eddie Ford who started CV&T etc. His brother owns showvan Innervisions
