Thanks,
Yep, I used the original harness which only needs a couple of wires changed to get it all to work. It did take a bit of thinking, but wasn't all that hard when you get your head around it. I'm still running the original HSV 195kw tune ECM/PCM computer. I got the engine and computer from a VR Clubsport, 4 bolt mains block. If you look closely in the photo you will notice I cut out the VR fuse box from the harness and wired it all into a VZ fuse box. I used this fuse box because its more compact and has more room for all the extras I had to wire in, and didn't want to put an extra fuse box and relays inside the car. With the A/C unit there was bugger all room under the dash and the Mrs didn't want me to remove the glove box. I also use the ECM/PCM to control my A/C, twin thermo fans high/low ect. Also wired in a manual fan override switch which I have never used.
You will have to remove the VATS system from your VT computer program. If you don't want to get the E.C.M reprogramed you can buy a 12v - 5v reducer and run it from the ignition supply circuit and into the correct terminal on the ECM. All the BCM module does is convert the supply to a 5v reference to cancel the VATS signal lock out.
Hope this helps.
