    Pinchweld questions

Hey guys, my HX van has 60A trim, chamois/black & needs new pinchweld.
From reading threads on here I think it should have chamois pinchweld round the door jams. Question... what about in the rear of van, the cargo floor edge directly behind seats, And rooflining strips along sides of van, do these match trim code, or the vynacote rear colour, or rooflining material colour??

My local trimmer doesn't carry pinchweld for holdens, but could order it in. Is there different quality of pinchweld? Between trimmers supplies & rare spares(seeing a lot of rares stuff is inferior quality to original fitment)

Hope someone has some helpful info for me,

    Cheers
    Max

The Rare Spares pinchweld is ok i have already bought mine in Buckskin
Pretty sure the pinch weld matches the hood lining in Vans
Only the back boards on the seats are done in Vynacote Grey afaik

OK, so I rang Sydney rare spares, & the only way they sell pinchweld is in 3 mtr lengths. Which is the length for the doors. Which means they want me to buy a 3 mtr length for each side of the rooflining strip (about 1700). Seems very uneconomical.
Does anyone know if other rare spares sell pinchweld by the metre? From my measuring I would need around 10.5 mtrs, but the way rares in Sydney sell it I would have to buy 5 x5mtrs to do the van

I must be living in the past, where they cut to measure what length you need off a roll.

You once could buy it at Clark Rubber off the roll.

Seems you still can. Colour might be your issue?
