$10k would be more than double what I sold it for <10years ago. It’s had two doors replaced since.
It is a great combo, I was always concerned about how to get the dent out of the back..
Big job all round, thinks it’s worth maybe $15k if you’re prepared to do a full resto, not one you’d tidy up and drive.

I wonder how many others are just getting traded around and never getting anything done to them?
Looks like quite a few are just not worth restoring unless you can do it all yourself and have endless spare time.

Jason, I hope you don't mind me saying, but I never did understand why you sold it (HZ) in the first place considering it was your 'one to have' .

I have seen pics of your HX part done on Fletch (I think). You should post some pics up of the build.

Ps. I like milt julup more than white anyway

Pps. I sold a valiant vc sleeper 15 years ago to get married and buy the place I live at now, but I still regret it

Agree. I love Mint Julep now! Agreed more than white. (shh dont tell everyone). I had to sell the Palais White HZ at the time. Divorce and needed the $ to pay out what was left after the house I sold and paid for twice....

I will do a build page for sure mate. There is just sooooooo many photos to go through. I have put up heaps on Facebook. But need to get an album happening here! Shes nearly finished. Complete with 1976 Lucas Battery. ;) Its a very very factory correct build.
Here is a couple to drool over
Im yet to add all the picking labels and production stamps and markings. I will do that once its all together. 20 years of collecting samples of production paint picking letter stamping and marks will come together finally.
