I haven't seen it in the flesh, but it looks like the immediate value in this one is just to use as it is. Sunroof aside it looks fantastic and I'd love to drive it down the main strip of any Australian town or coastal strip as is. And it would have inherent value in 20 years when you are sick of cruising the manderin and put it back to black. I'd say 50k if it's solid on inspection with engine matching hss report

PS anything that has obviously been restored in the last 20 years and has coverings on the inside of the back I would look closely as to whether always was windowless and the quality of job

Yeah, goes without saying you want to inspect the vehicle. I'm 100% with you - Just get in and cruise! So much fun to have just the way it is all the time knowing you are a ripper factory spec'd Sandman.
I reckon the engine bay and some other small details will hold it back from the super big bucks and these are things you could sort out while keeping on the road and crusin'. I think it's needs around 10 -15K spent on it to make it really nice (and that doesn't include a respray).

I see it's now at 37K so it's past what I think it's worth. Maybe the bidders know more than I do or simply have more cash they don't want anymore?

Anyway, good luck to the seller and buyer.

Realistic prices would be great to see for a change.
