I remember having them whilst I was a kid. One thing I remember doing was I had a set with minis. If you undid the body from the chassis at the back on the mini and let it sit up (like a stupid Ford with teh rear of the bonnet lifted!) you could fit a big wheel axle off an F1 car into it. Gave the mini heaps bigger rubber and made it faster too.

to late now...:cry:...
as you can see it was being used as a big arse crap collector so its no great loss at the moment..
the plan is to sell some of my real big cars and move the scalextrix into the other side of the tajmagarage which will give me 3 times the area i am using now..so then the pool table will be used again..probably as a big arse crap collector...

We too use the kids old table tennis table to hoard stuff on, under and around every Xmas we clear it off :lol:

i just booked this into the shannons auction in sydney for november so i will have more room for more scalextric later and get my crap collecting table back...
