No one knows. Popularity never waned??
Nice van and big $$$$ still dont like the seat boards painted grey
Sandman’s are very expensive now.
"Proud To Be An Old Fart".
And again same as the green one the door trims are wrong and the headliner shouldn't go all the way to the back, if you'r paying that money you expect it to be right.
Has your HQ Sandman got a M20 Engine? Probably has a L32 Gearbox?

That is a thing of beauty. Obviously owner added some bling to their own taste with the items mentioned earlier and some extra chrome touches, all very tasteful but not concours for those reasons. I personally wouldn't/couldn't pay that much, but I never got into these cars for their collector value, and that has to a fair degree of that price
It would appear all these restored HQ Sandman's with the big asking 150K plus all come out of Munster Muscle Cars in WA.
This is likely why the same mistakes happen over and over.
Very nice Sandman's though, although not to concours standard. I've said it before 20K would fix that.
