For it to be a Sandman and built in Brisbane it would (or should) have XX7 or XU3 stamped into the passenger side main tag.

Thanks mate, the only reason i ask is ive found out recentky that the early kingswood sandman utes didnt have the XX7 or the xU3 code stamped on them. That only started in 10/1975 so ive read. Whereas mine is 4/1975 with the same specs as a sandman.

Who told you that? HQ were stamped in 1974 from Acacia Ridge plant in Brisbane (we have seen miss stamped and un-stamped) XU3 stamping came in later than XX7 stamping though.
