I watched it on phone, & couldn't work out some of the shots at all, old tired eyes!
Looks like a massive job, but it's a WB shell, he's calling HQ, & changed the plenum to HQ, but not dash or the rear repeaters. I didn't notice if the firewall was changed.

With all the effort, should turn out nice

why go to all the trouble of having a frankinstein van with no engine or box for around $40k.

you should be able to find a decent hq sandman for around the same cost and it would appreciate in price

So he has deleted the full chassis in favour of a Statesman sedan floor pan and mono construction meaning it is now a panel van body over a Statesman floor utilising coil rear suspension.
Heaps of work and done and at a good standard. But it's going to make it headache for registration. Really don't know why he did this at all?

Still, I would like him as my body man. You'd just have to rein him in when ideas start floating about in his head!

Seems like the hard way to get a average coil rear end.
Amazing what can be done with enough time on your hands. Why not use an independent rear end though??

Wasn't he on here quite some time back asking about where chassis joins were on these? Maybe it was somebody else?
