Being a Kingswood Ute check if there are holes in the B pillar or at the rear near the tail light for the Kingswood bump strips. Fairly sure this was a delete for HJ Kingswood Sandman Ute(meaning they are a Kingswood without the holes so different to normal Kingswood).
This is why the Kingswood Sandman was dropped in HX/Z as they went to the fused pins down the quarter, doors and front guard and you couldn’t put the stickers on, but HJ only had the two screw holes.
I stand to be corrected on this in HJ but I am sure I remember Byron mentioned this years ago.
Sandaro your dad’s has the strips but are they stick on?

Only place it may have been written was the owners books. No where else.
Does the chassis number match?
I don't know, I will go and see it this weekend and find out some more info. Its hard as the lady selling it needs to drive there and get into a shed that has stuff everywhere. I cant even ask Holden for help yet as I dont have all of the numbers to give them.
Not Holden you need to ask, it’s Holden Historical Services. It’s a private business. Holden didn’t even know a Sandman from a Bedford.
