Yes, that is correct for an early '75 model (they hadn't started derating the weight for tyre selection yet)

There you go. You learn something new everyday. When did that start?

The papaya HJ on 782 i know is known to members of Maj Vanners and it was a trophy winning XX7 Hj 308 and it never made that. My question is, where does this end? Many thanks.

Two ways it will end, there is a major financial crisis and interest rates go through the roof. Or as baby boomers start dropping off the perch, the kids sell the cars to get some money out of their inheritance, only to find that the market dries up with the boomers.

True. That's what I think as well. It was more a rhetorical question I suppose, I mean , the prices have gone nuts. Just was wondering where the stop number is that is too much.

Sorry friend, I didn't mean to upset anyone, if you needed to sell your van, I'm not judging you. Life can be rocky. All good.

No way would I personally spend a 100K+ on a low end/spec 253 powered Sandman. But I'm not here to wreck somebody else's dream or fun. I just like mine a little rarer for that sort of cash.
I'm of the exact opinion, I don't judge peoples choices or tastes, as long as they are happy, I'm happy.
