Is holden historical serves the only place find out if my mates van is a sandman

No, but it's the only one that can really confirm build and sales history (of a car missing it's paper work) and provide a certificate that becomes the proof you need to on sell the car to someone with confidence that it is actually a real Sandman, thus adding value.
Really the big money should be reserved for the Sandman's that actually have their original documents. But how many haver these?

Ok thanks I ve been in contact with them and they said the data from page 4,199 onwards has been lost from the Adelaide plant they are trying find out if they can find out my mates van seems to have the right numbers and bits oh well will have to wait and see thanks again
