    Tinting bubble windows

My t/gate bubble window is quite see-through, compared to others I have had previously. I presume it is from too many UVs, or just old age.

Considering giving it a coat of that tail light spray tint.
Anyone got thoughts, pros/cons, or alternative ideas?
Presuming the spray tint won't have a reaction on the bubble window, does anyone know what sort of plastic I can find similar to do a test on?

30 years ago, I would have just painted it black!
    Thanks for any input

Spray tint will do the job. Or you can buy a new one.
