great news,we have received the sample and have trial fitted it this morning,fairly happy with the fit,a couple of minor adjustments and they shall be right to go....PLEASE NOTE THE SAMPLE IS ONE COLOUR ONLY..Tail tents will be blue/red as per original..

Being a newbie I'm slowly getting to read all the info on this site ... will definitely be after one of these Tail Tents when they're done ... any ideas when yet?
Looking at the original on page one and the repro on this page it seems the zipper is on the opposite side. Is the repro going to have the zipper top left to bottom right as per original?

Yes, the direction of the Zipper was one of the first things that we noticed was wrong.. The manufacturer has been hade aware of this, and some nine other problems that have to be fixed for the second pre production sample..

yes hopefully they will get the next pre production sample correct..
unlike other people doing reproduction parts we want the parts to be perfect if not a little better because of technology these days..
all going well it should be available soon...
We expect the next Pre production sample within the next three weeks..
Will post up pics when we check it out!
