Hi Guys

a bit of an update for you..

We just rec'd picture of the latest sample and although it looks preyy good, there is one glaring mistake. Can you see it??

Ok, the problem that my person overseas and I have is that this manufacturer is dropping the ball when it comes to attention to detail.

So therefore we are looking for a new manufacturer that will do the best job, and to the quality that we expect.

Anyway, we hope that once we find a new supplier, the ball will start rolling again pretty soon.

I will keep you guys informed of our progress.

On the hj picture of van with tent.
Has red on the sides and blue on the front. Example pic on the first thread.

due to hold ups in shipping we are expecting the second and hopefully correct sample this week...cost will be around $395..not firm as yet..


the first example pic is totally wrong to start with..never go off sales brochures...
the tail tents were produced in 2 colours reversed with the most common being the one we have produced...
the new old stock sample we have used is that colour..once we have managed to get it manufactured correctly then we may go with the challenge of getting them to reverse the colours but they will be more expensive and by firm pre paid order only..
please read the complete thread and its links to get an understanding of what challenges go into producing something of quality..
we could have had this done a year or more ago if we wanted to do a hit and run with a shit product...

Hi All

I know that these have been a long time coming (about 12 months), but as OZBOX said, we don't want to release a half arsed product that is not to the standard that we expect.

To update you all on the latest, I was sent a pic of the latest sample prior to it being sent over.


I made the comment that the zipper was he wrong colour and the manufacturer went ahead in changing the zipper!! I have to say that I was happy to recieve this sample as it was, but they wanted to get it right first!

Also, from the picture, I am happy with the colour of the materials used so I am confident that we might be able to give the go ahead soon for full production.

Once we have the sample in country, we will get it tried for fitment, etc and we will post some pics as well.

As far as the alternative colour scheme, we will look at doing a small number in red with blue door.
