Looking at the original on page one and the repro on this page it seems the zipper is on the opposite side. Is the repro going to have the zipper top left to bottom right as per original?

Yes, the direction of the Zipper was one of the first things that we noticed was wrong.. The manufacturer has been hade aware of this, and some nine other problems that have to be fixed for the second pre production sample..

yes hopefully they will get the next pre production sample correct..
unlike other people doing reproduction parts we want the parts to be perfect if not a little better because of technology these days..
all going well it should be available soon...

a bit of an update for you..

We just rec'd picture of the latest sample and although it looks preyy good, there is one glaring mistake. Can you see it??

Ok, the problem that my person overseas and I have is that this manufacturer is dropping the ball when it comes to attention to detail.

So therefore we are looking for a new manufacturer that will do the best job, and to the quality that we expect.

Anyway, we hope that once we find a new supplier, the ball will start rolling again pretty soon.

I will keep you guys informed of our progress.
