I went to heaps of trouble to hide my kill switch in my blue WB and when the dog turds stole it they managed to cut the kill switch out and throw it in the gutter along with the compliance and ID plates.
Agree with Oz on the car cover. Just look after the paint and drive it and enjoy it. Stone chips = a car that is enjoyed on the road as well as when it is parked in the shed in my book.
As for kids Oz, I found my number 3 doing some panel beating on my wb with a ball pein hammer not long ago.

I use a large 4wd cover for mine.
The elastic corners goes nicely under the rear (even with the roof spoiler), and under the front spoiler.
