    ive got a 4oz blue point hammer i use for mouldings that cost more than those 2..in sayimg that ive collected a few sets of those cheap arse panel hammers over the years from car boots and i havent broken nor seen one break yet...

    They were the nastiest tools I have ever been unfortunate enough to buy!

    I was knocking a few dints out of the bats on my header front. Wasnt being rough with them. The first one snapped off after about 100 hits, the second one managed just 30 or so taps!

    The amount of effort to make the tooling etc makes me wonder how much harder it would have been to use slightly better materials?

    I wasnt expecting estwing quality, but I have never snapped a hammer head before either.
