Gave them to the Kincrome tool rep. He was kind enough to warrenty claim them. We only gave them to him as a laugh. Good service that!
Thats good service! I dont think I can claim my hammer handle as I got lazy and tried a new method for fitting a new handle (which I probably dont recommend either). Place new handle in hammer head, place hammer and handle upright in a 20 tonne press and push handle into hammer head with press. It actually worked well until I gave it that fatal "just one more pump on the jack and it will be perfect"......snap.

As you may have noticed some of my tools are a little rustic, however I lashed out and bought myself some high quality supercheap panel beating equipment a while ago. Not too impressed with the quality I must admit. $35 doesnt seem to get you much these days.
I do have good quality tools as well in case anyone doubts me.......

I had a really good tool set up once.....till a flatmate decided he liked them more than me. He took all me Snap-On stuff, I got left with me Repco spanners (which are pretty good) and few assorted screwdrivers and bits and pieces of sockets. Slowly rebuilding though!

They were the nastiest tools I have ever been unfortunate enough to buy!

I was knocking a few dints out of the bats on my header front. Wasnt being rough with them. The first one snapped off after about 100 hits, the second one managed just 30 or so taps!

The amount of effort to make the tooling etc makes me wonder how much harder it would have been to use slightly better materials?

I wasnt expecting estwing quality, but I have never snapped a hammer head before either.
