New for both, you should pull good $, but $995 for 2nd hand, no way.

Someone will probably pay well for a new pair though. Don't be surprised if you get over $700 for the pair

i just sold new old stock hj statesman upper and lower grilles for $1200 over the counter..hj is less liked than hx hz but lots rarer...
second hand upper grille in very good condition is worth between $275 and $350 all day long and lower is the same if it has its mounting tabs...the guy on ebay is not that far off his mark.
personally i would start those grilles at 99 cents..make sure you post up the link mook...:Pirate:
