They are both 1989. Just check the series code on yours, ie make sure that a series change didn't happen in 1989.

thanks all we managed to locate one at u pull it! was the only one there! and luckily it had what we needed tho its a series changed one, as the one here doesnt have indicators in the guard, but the new guard does. bit of weld here and there will sort that out tho! fits otherwise
