mate you should buy it as it is worth the asking price, only problem being that it will cost quite a bit to get her back to original, but at least you can drive it, ive seen people asking that price for a van half as good as that.

you just wonder why people do that to sandman. with the seats and cd player and shit like that.

Do you know if the chasis matches and if the 308 is the original??

If it's got a turbo box then the 308 won't be original as it would have had a trimatic pattern block from new.

It may have an adapter plate or a modified TH350 or a redrilled block. But as above it is probably not the original block.

On another note, it's pretty much a carbon copy of mine.
1926-18v L31 M21 GV4. Even built in the same month. 1/78

Sorry guys i dont have the cash for this one.. i think i'll stick to a none sandman for the first.. as i want to do a few things to it.. not return it to original as you guys do only because i dont have the cash.. id love to do a full restoration.. but yes modifying a sandman would be like giving miranda kerr a boob job... not a good thing...

^^Great comment. Although I don't think such surgery would make Miranda look any worse. Kinda like widened GTS rims let's say!

I agree, terrible on a sandman, should be bought by someone in SA so they can restore it to original.... and sell the seats and wheels on to me.

I take back what I said about modified vans, I clearly like 90s modifications. I even like what they've done with the back.
