Clean rust free non-Sandman utes and vans are very common, compared to the same thing in collectable stuff like GTS coupes, L34/A9X/XU1 Torana etc. My point was you have little choice when repairing collectable stuff as you really need to keep the original body where possible. But clean garden variety vans and utes are everywhere on Ebay and relatively cheap. I've put up at least 4 x links of what appear to be near rust free vans and utes in the last month alone.
