nice ute man, that's like new
so that guy got the white van top for $900???
That old NRMA van is awesome! A little piece of history that's good to see still on the road! :lifesaver:
yep on ebay he jagged it as soon as it was put on as a buy it now from a wreckers in sydney..they did not realise it was a genuine holden by design lid which he tells me that when he bought his maloo new it was a 10k option..i took the pic because he is thinkin about gettin it painted..i like it in white..unusual 2 tone..
I am sure I checked out that blue ute at the Richmond swap meet earlier this year. Nice ute.
That ute is identical in build, colour and condition to a friend of mine's van. Except his is an Acacia Ridge build XX7.
Shame they put those god awful coffin rails up the side of it. I did see one the other day that had them on the inside. Probably a little less awful there.
Those rail's were very popular at the time James, as were the luggage rack's that also found their way onto the roof of many unfortunate van's.
"Proud To Be An Old Fart".
Agree. They are equally as ugly as the Vacationer roof racks on the van I was talking about.
G'day WB - might have been this one you spotted; all those "god awful" coffin-railed blue Kingswoods look the same
