The thermostat has more to do with what temp your engine runs. I have a 5 row radiator in my WB and had to try different temp thermostats to get it to run hot enough.

Hi agr071, from memory it ran about 1/4 to 1/3 on the gauge,pretty much close to what it did before they were fitted. It just took a bit of fine tuning to get them to run spot on. I had them fitted mainly to get rid of the roar from the 7 blade fan. As you know there was not much insulation on the fire wall to keep thing's quiet in the cabin.
