I have powered up my HX GTS clock and it is not ticking over
I just added a positive to the orange and then an earth to the black
I assume it needs some attention.
Any chance you could take a look at it please ?

It won't go like that. Earth needs to go to clock body. Power to the other two wires. One is the light. The other is power to the clock. You need to snap the adjuster out to start it. If it won't go you start with replacing the capacitors.Originally Posted by high voltage

They don't tick either. They hum because the mech is a tuning fork system.
