Hi, the shaft in my steering column on my WB has completely collapsed and recessed down the column a good 15cm. This happened while i was replacing the rubber seal at the top of the shaft under the bonnet. Is this fixable?

Your question is a bit vague...

Are you meaning from the top of the column, the shaft has collapsed? If thats with the steering wheel off? Might be that the top circlip isn't there.

Yes, that sound like it, how easy / difficult is it to get the shaft back up into its proper position?

Hi Lukeos.
The steering column is designed to collapse in an accident its a two piece shaft, you should be able to get it back up, just a bit difficult.
