    Favourite books?!

Just wondering what books people enjoy reading. I wish i had more time to sit down flip a few pages though. This thread would be a good way to put your recommendations out there ..... cant hurt to expand your mind and knowledge

This is definitely one of my favorites.

Skunkworks is a secret aerospace branch of Lockheed. To see what these guys accomplished without computers or calculators is truly mind blowing!!! The high stakes to get things right in the then global climate was immense and how they went about it ....just incredible. It covers the U2 high altitude plane......the still record holding SR-71, this plane has yet to be matched in speed and ability in its roll and the F-117 Nighthawk...revolutionized stealth technology. The stories and tales are just incredible. Written by Ben Rich....who took over from Skunkworks founder Clarence "Kelly" Johnson. Titanium was created.....and so was specific tools to work on the plane because your normal chrome sidechrome set would cause rust issues.....everything about the SR-71 is beyond belief!!!

If you're into planes and how man made some of the most amazing planes ever, this is a must read

And if you want to know how to fly the SR-71....this is crazy. The preperations just to get it into the air has to be read to be believed. Higher class then an astronaut......multiple sunrises and sunsets......to do a u-turn at mach3 you need a country the size of France......fascinating to say the least!!

    Throw up some recommendations people!!

He has a sequel to that as well, and if you ask at a book shop they might have the 2 in 1 publication.

Please post back here when you read the chapter on the monkey!

How good is Keif's book?!?! I love the story of the Stones travelling in the Southern State of the US in the 60's. They hired an old car and filled it with coke and grass even inside the door panels but left the drugs in the car while on tour!

Keif reckons there is an old lady driving around Texas with a few kg's of drugs in her car.
