thanks davegmh. Nice Sandman ute. I've been following this thread since the start and wouldn't have known about the new models - I'd been looking for my old PV (HZ) but the wife wouldn't allow it back in the garage. She was happy with a new one with no maintenance costs.

Ta mate. I had a Holden dealer (Brisbane) call me today to tell me they had a white ute just arrive. I had inquired there a few months ago. After I told him I already had a black one he then tells me that their is only 7 black v8 Utes in the country and only 2 in QLD. Also only 106 in total of all variants were made. Can anyone confirm this.

I think you must've got mine, Dave - I'm still waiting! When I was speaking to the dealer he told me that the black ute they had on order had been given to another dealership and that he'd have to find me another one. You've got good intel. I'm pretty happy.

I forgot to mention that the 7 black V8's nationally and 2 in Qld were of the auto's. There is 24 black manual V8 Utes. (Apparently)



Keenospv......you might be right. I ordered an auto and the dealership was allocated a manual. Took the manager 2 days to get another dealer to give an auto up.
