    A swap ?over my dead body standard guards aren't worth no where near GTS guards $$$ wise

    Then comes the testing, and any corrections, followed by production and shipping. At least it shows that parts are still under consideration and continually added to the product range.

    Knowing this assists in valuing parts you may want to sell or buy and what you want to retain. When considering any restoration it is invaluable knowing what is available and approximate costs before starting. You would not want to be half way through and find you cannot get a suitable part, either genuine or reproduction.
    Thats a shame your not making the guards trying to find good rust free guards and doors is almost impossible for HJ to WB

    They are not that far apart in cost these days and just as difficult to find.
    Of course you can add cash either way in the negotiation. My point is you will have difficulty finding mint standard guards and if you could do a swap the guards come to you.
    Could save a lot of time looking.
