2 x L31 , M21 Sandman vans on offer....which one gets your rose?

I thought it was beyond stupid at 30K, which is where it was when mysandman started (I was about the third person to join this site). People thought you were mad paying $5K for a restorable wreck then (about 2005ish). I paid $600 for my rolling Ute and was given my XX7 van that Sandaro now has.

Problem is it's affects us buying parts now. Got quoted $550+ for a Brass/Copper radiator for a 6cyl HG yesterday. Questioned the price and was told "have you seen what these old cars sell for today?, it's all relevant to that!"
Much like chrome plating some years back. Take 2 bumpers both roughly the same size and shape. One cost say $300 and the other $700. One was to fit a common car and the other an expensive luxury car. Same job in hourly work and materials. It's all just a rip off!
